The tour overview :

Unravel the ancient Mughal architecture in the capital and move to the pink city Jaipur where you witness bewitching palaces, appealing forts and havelis, the snow white beauty of Taj Mahal, moving to the oldest Hindu city Varanasi settled on the banks of the holy river Ganges.

Day 1 - Arrival New Delhi - -

  • Most of the flights either land in evening or late at night. So at the point you arrive at the airport our services for you shall begin.Upon your arrival at the New Delhi International Airport, and after all custom formalities when you will exit the arrival terminal, you will be met upon by a company representative from TNS Travel, will receive you with warmth and you will enjoy a traditional Swagat. Further he will assist you from the airport to the hotel where you will check-in and relax.

    DELHI, the capital of kingdoms and empires is now a sprawling metropolis with a fascinating blend of the past and the present. It is a perfect introduction to the composite culture of an ancient land. A window to the kaleidoscope - that is India.

    Overnight stay will be at hotel in Delhi.

Day 2 - Delhi - Historic Capital - -

  • After breakfast, you will start a full day sightseeing tour of New Delhi assisted by a guide.Your sightseeing tour will comprise visits to  Old & New Delhi.Old Delhi - A sight-seeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting the Jama Masjid to Chandni Chowk- the old marketplace of Shah Jahanabad now a picturesque bazaar;(Here you can enjoy the cycle rickshaw ride from Jama Masjid to Chandni Chowk). Red Fort - once the most opulent fort and palace of the Mughal Empire. Also visit Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. 

    Later visit an extensive sight-seeing tour of New Delhi would include a visit to India Gate, Parliament House, the President`s Residence, Lotus Temple, a Bahal Houses of Worship, Humayun`s Tomb, memorial of Mughal Emperor Humayun and Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

    Optional:  If time permits you can visit Bungla Sahib Gurudwara. 

    Overnight stay will be at hotel in Delhi.

Day 3 - New Delhi - Jaipur - (By Road: 265 Km. / 6 hrs. ) -

  • After your breakfast, you will leave for Jaipur "The Pink City" is spectacularly set within surrounding rugged hills, dotted with ancient ruined fortresses. The origins of the beautiful city of Jaipur can be traced back to the eighteenth century, during the reign of Jai Singh II who ascended the Amber throne in 1699. Jaipur today, epitomizes the spirit of Rajputana.

    Upon arrival at Jaipur check in at hotel and relax or enjoy your own personal activity.

    In the evening you will visit Chokhi - Dhani, an ethnic village resort. Enjoy the village life along with a session of dinner and traditional dance. Your dinner is included here.

    Overnight stay will be in Jaipur.

Day 4 - Jaipur - Maharaja Retreat - -

  • Morning enjoy your relax breakfast at the hotel later in time Proceed for a morning excursion to Amber Fort. Elephant ride ascent to the fort.

    Amber Fort Palace - Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I.

    After visit Amber fort Continue sight-seeing in Jaipur visit first City Place.

    City Palace - A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city.

    Jantar Mantar - This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.

    Hawa Mahal - The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies.

    On evening you will free for relax or enjoy your own personal activity.

Day 5 - Jaipur - Abhaneri - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra - (By Road: 265 Km. / 6 hrs. ) -

  • Breakfast will be at the hotel. Drive to Agra visiting Abhaneri Well Step and Fatehpur Sikri en-route.

    ABHANERI located in the Dausa district of Rajasthan, is a baori or a step-well traditionally used to conserve and store water and for public baths. Chand Baori is a stepwell situated in the village of Abhaneri in the Indian state of Rajasthan

    Fatehpur Sikri (Ghost Capital), the political capital of India`s Mughal Empire under Akbar`s reign, from the year 1571 until 1585, when it was abandoned, ostensibly due to lack of water. Here we visit Emperor Akbar`s Residential complex, Mosque & Tomb of Salim Chisti. The deserted, red sandstone city that was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace in the 16th century. Also visit the Buland Darwaza the largest gateway in the world.

    Continue your drive to Agra and arrive in Agra.  Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax. 

    Overnight stay will be at Agra. 

Day 6 - Agra - Delhi - (By Road: 240 Km. / 5 hrs. ) -

  • Morning after having breakfast at hotel later at time start sightseeing in Taj City with guide.

    AGRA: Two great Mughal monarchs, Akbar and Shah Jahan, transformed the little village of Agra into a befitting second capital of the Mughal Empire - giving it the name Dar-ul-Khilafat {seat of the Emperor}.

    TAJ MAHAL (Closed on Every Friday): Little needs to be said about this architectural wonder which is always the soul raison-de-etre for every tourist`s visit to Agra. Built by Shah Jahan, the Taj is a white marble memorial to his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. Proceed for visit to the Taj Mahal later visit Agra Fort built by the famed Mughal emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, the fort is predominantly of red sandstone. Ensconced within is the picture perfect Pearl Mosque, which is a major tourist attraction.

    Itmadullah`s Tomb. built by Empress NOOR JEHAN in memory of her father (The interiors of which are considered better than the Taj).

    After finishing your sightseeing proceed for Delhi reach check in hotel and relax. 

    Overnight stay will be at Delhi. 

Day 7 - Delhi - Varanasi - (AI-406 - 10:15/11:35) -

  • Breakfast will be at hotel. Transfer in time to airport for flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival you will be met with company representative and you transferred to hotel and relax. 

    Varanasi is the world`s most ancient living city. Sunrise on the riverfront, as seen from a boat, can be spiritually uplifting sight. Crowded with temples, and its labyrinth of streets, the city attracts the maximum number of tourists. The religious capital of hinduism, varanasi is the carpet manufacturing place of india. It was previously known as kashi - the city that illuminates. The present name is derived from the fact that the city is at the confluence of the rivers Varuna and ASI.

    Visit Sarnath 5 miles out of Varanasi for a day excursion: One of the holiest Buddhist sites in the world, where Buddha preached his first Sermon in 590 BC. Witness the ruins of a once flourishing Buddhist monastery and then visit a fine Museum which houses an excellent collection of Buddhist art and sculptures found at the site.

    Evening:  Enjoy the city walk and explore the oldest city on your own.

    Overnight stay will be at Varanasi.

Day 8 - Varanasi - -

  • In the morning drive to Daswamedh Ghat and take a boat ride on the sacred river Ganges to see the cremation Ghats and witness the living traditions of one of the world`s oldest and most important religions. (To start at 0500 Hr. for the best lifetime experience) For you to appreciate this remarkable city, we`ll transfer you to the banks of the River Ganges before the sun rises. Board a boat with your guide and proceed to the middle of the river, where at sunrise the sight unfolds before you. Thousands of faithful come daily to the banks to bathe and pray while in the background, temples and palaces rise in tiers from the water`s edge. Return for a walk through the cobblestone streets along the banks of "Ganga". As shops are opening, the place now becomes a beehive of activity as the faithful are coming and going.

    Return to hotel for a sumptuous breakfast. Later visit Bharat Mata Temple Also visit the 18th century Durga Temple, commonly known as the Monkey Temple due to the huge population of the monkeys. Proceed to the Tulsi Manas Temple, crafted from white marble which features the entire Ramayana inscribed on its walls.

    Evening enjoy prayer ceremony at the banks of River Ganges in Varanasi with your guide later relax in the hotel.

Day 9 - Varanasi - New Delhi - Departure - (UK-674 - 15:20/16:55) -

  • After breakfast proceed for domestic airport to board a flight for Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi proceed for shopping at local shopping market to buy gifts for your love ones. Later in evening enjoy the dinner with our company executive and share you valuable feedback with us. In-time transfer to the International airport for your onward journey, with sweet memories of the tour with TNS Travel.
